Group classes

Mondays in Langley and  ​Wednesdays in Maple Ridge
  • Meet and socialize with other dancers  - in a fun and dynamic environment while learning salon tango - social dance style Argentine tango. 
  • Group classes are convenient and cost-effective.  Dancers of all skill levels and experience are welcome. All you need is a desire to learn. It also helps to have an appreciation for the music and motion of Argentine tango.  
  • Partner rotations are encouraged and singles are always welcome. ​​
  • ​The curriculum is designed to help you find your own tango with all the talents and challenges you bring to it.​ 
  • ​Our system of teaching tango is structured and precise, while also allowing students to have fun and be creative. ​

​Sets of 3-4 classes



Fundamentals classes are for beginners AND for experienced tango dancers who want to improve technique, partnership and musicality. Repeating Fundamentals sets encourages improvement. Discounts apply to repeats.
  • Focus on ements and concepts of Tango Liso . 
  • Four sets rotate through the year: Cruce,  Rebote, Ocho, Giro.
  • Beginners can start with any set, but should attend the first class of that set, or wait until the next set starts as content is progressive within a set.
  • All sets include motion principles, and
    ​the 4 Connections: Self, Partner, Music, Ronda.
Intermediate/Advanced classes are for students who have learned the fundamentals of Argentine tango. 
  • Exploring Tango Liso and Tango Salon for Social Dance​
  • Each set has specific focuses and new content.
  • Content is progressive within a set, therefore students are recommended to attend from the first lesson of any set or wait until the next set starts.
  • Intermediate students learn in both open and close embrace.
  • Pre-requisite: Instructor approval required. Students must learn fundamentals before joining Intermediate classes.

​No drop-ins. ​Sets of 4 classes.

All-levels classes are for dancers of all experience levels from absolute beginner to advanced. These classes are designed to get you moving and dancing quicker. Role reversal allows you to experience both sides of the partnership. 
Focus on music, motion, partnership and dancing. 

Lose yourself in the captivating music, flowing motion, genuine connections, and creative improvisation of the authentic Argentine tango. Taught with a fun, supportive approach, these sessions are for all dancers, regardless of experience level. Partner rotations are encouraged and singles are always welcome! Each set of classes has unique content. No pre-requisites. Registering for consecutive courses will provide the opportunity for continued skills development.

​Class format: 1 hour lesson and 1 hour of supported practice.
